道士消失了

The Daoist had vanished!

悟空跑外面寻找

Wukong ran outside and shot into the air.

突然听到王宫里传来了尖叫声

Then he heard a shout from inside the palace.

原来是妖道变作唐僧模样，混淆视听

“There are two Tang Monks!”cried Bajie.

八戒想出了一个办法，让两个唐僧念紧箍咒

“I have an idea,”said Bajie,smiling. “But you won’t like it.” “The two Tang Monks should recite the Tight Headband spell,”said the pig.

一下便可分出真假

“Only the Tang Monk,Guanyin,and Buddha know the spell.We’ll know right away which Tang Monk is fake.”

唐僧念起紧箍咒来

Both monks began speaking,and Wukong fell to the floor.

那妖道不会念，口里只是胡乱哼哼

Bajie watched the Tang Monks carefully.One of them was reciting the spell.But the other one wasn’t. “This is the fake Tang Monk!”shouted the pig,pointing.

他举起钉耙就打

Bajie and Wujing tried to grab the fake monk.

那妖道见被识破，现出真身跳到空中便逃

But the fake monk changed into a green lion and ran out of the throne room.Outside,the lion leaped into the air.

三人将那妖道团团围住

Clouds swirled,and soon they had the lion surrounded.

悟空正要举棒结果了它

Wukong pulled out his iron bar and raised it to strike.

这时，空中飞来一朵祥云，有人高声喊道：“大圣，且慢！”

Just then a deep voice called out, “Do not his him,Sun Wukong!”

悟空回头一看，见是文殊菩萨，急忙收了铁棒

Everyone looked up. “It’s the bodhisattva Manjusri!”said Wukong.

“我是来收这妖怪的，”菩萨说道，“这狮子原是我的坐骑。”

“This green lion is my pet,”said the bodhisattva.

“很多年前，乌鸡国的国王做了坏事。”

“The king of the Black Rooster Kingdom was cruel to someone many years ago.

我的狮子是来惩罚他的。

So my lion came to Earth to punish him.

当天，乌鸡国举国欢庆。

That night the kong of the Black Rooster Kingdom hosted a feast.

国王对唐僧师徒感激不尽，磕头谢恩。

During the feast he turned to the Tang Monk. “Thank you for your help.I hope you will reach the Western Paradise very soon.”

几个星期过去了，唐僧一行继续西行。

Weeks passed,and the travelers continued west.

一日，悟空看见前方山顶有一朵神秘的红云。

One day Wukong saw a mysterious red cloud over the mountains ahead.

那红云消失了。悟空摇头说：“没事，师父。”

The red cloud disappeared.Wukong shook his head. “Nothing,master.I thought I saw a red cloud.”
