只见山坳里飘来一朵红云，悟空知有妖怪。
“A red cloud keeps appearing over those mountains,”he said. “There must be a demon ahead.”
忙和八戒、沙僧护住师父。
Wukong nodded. “We must be careful.”He pulled out his iron bar and held it up.Wujing held up his spear,and Bajie held up his rake.
师徒一行又走了一会儿，见路旁一棵大树旁坐着一个小孩。
The demon made himself look like a scared little boy.Then he went down to the road,sat alongside it,and waited.
唐僧看到小男孩，立刻从马上下来。
The Tang Monk saw the boy and got down from his horse.
悟空看出他是个妖怪，但唐僧不信。
“Master,that’s a demon,”warned Wukong.The Tang Monk scowled at the monkey. “He’s just a scared little boy.”
那妖怪泪眼汪汪地说，父母为贼人所害。
“My family was attacked by robbers,”said the boy. “Please help me.”
妖怪又装作手脚麻木。
The boy shook his head.“My leg is injured.”
要悟空背他。
The Tang Monk waved Wukong over. “Please carry the boy.And don’t be mean to him.”
悟空便上前驼起他，骂道：“妖怪，你骗得过我师父，骗不过我！”
The group continued west,with Wukong carrying the boy on his back. “You tricked the Tang Monk,”said Wukong to the boy.
悟空走到悬崖边。
The road now ran along the edge of a cliff.Wukong looked down.
悟空正想将妖怪摔下山崖。
“I’ll throw you over the edge of this cliff,”he said. “Then I’ll just tell the Tang Monk you ran away.”
妖怪突然消失不见了。
The monkey tried to grab the boy from his back.
风变得越发大了，四处尘土飞扬。
The wind suddenly grew stronger,and dust filled the air.
远处听到尖叫声，悟空立马跑向他们。
Wukong heard screams and rushed ahead to find his friends.
当风停下，他看到八戒和悟净横在路边。
When the wind stopped,he saw Bajie and Wujing lying by the road.
原来是妖怪弄起一阵旋风，把唐僧摄走了。
“Oh no!”cried Bajie. “That boy was a demon.He kidnapped Master!”
